Welcome!

      Hello and welcome to Troop 170's website! We are an active troop with over thirty currently registered scouts and a great group of adult leaders dedicated to building boys into fine young men.

       We meet as a troop an average of two Wednesdays a month at Buehler's Cultural Center (950 High Mountain Rd. North Haledon NJ)

      We try to plan a camping or overnight trip once a month to get out, enjoy nature, learn first aid, survival and moral skills, and be in the company of our fellow scouts!!!

       We are also actively involved in community service such as snow shoveling for senior citizens, Scouting for Food, and participating in local civic ceremonies. Scouts BSA is open to youth between ages 11-17 (or younger if they have completed 5th grade).
